Much of the world’s oil and gas comes from a multitude of onshore fields that have been producing for decades. Many of these fields have become marginal oil fields that are economically unattractive to develop and produce. Increasing recovery factor and net present value, a combination of the right strategy and technology must be employed.
From the placement of wells in the drainage areas and resulting planned well trajectories must be done in a manner that optimally responds to maximizing drainage area production performance and resource recovery, minimizing surface environmental impact and respecting all regulatory constraints, ensuring that the well trajectory can be safely drilled, completed and operated for the optimal operational period of the well/field and recovery of the oil resource and optimizing the surface facility layout for access roads, storage and oil gathering lines
At OGAB Engineering, we follow the above methodology, and it has been applied and implemented successfully on different fields.
